We collect only the data needed to match candidates to roles — profile details, work history and assessment results. Candidate data is never sold. You choose which employers can see your profile, and you can request export or deletion at any time.

AI is used to parse, structure and score applications. Automated scores are always reviewed by a human recruiter before any shortlist decision is made.

Aakam is free for candidates. Employers are charged a placement fee of 20% of first-year base salary, invoiced on placement, with a three-month replacement guarantee. There are no retainers and no hidden fees.

By using the platform you agree to provide accurate information and to use shortlists solely for bona fide hiring. Full commercial terms are provided at contract.

We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We apply fairness and anti-bias review to our matching models, and maintain a human-in-the-loop on every recommendation.
